Quarter Results and Fiscal 2027 Guidance
Winnebago said in a press release that Q4 fiscal 2026 revenue fell about 17.0% to $645.1 million from $777.3 million a year earlier. Gross profit was $80.7 million, equal to a 12.5% gross margin, while net income totaled $9.7 million, or $0.34 per diluted share. Adjusted diluted earnings per share (EPS) were $0.49, and adjusted EBITDA was $32.6 million, representing a 5.1% margin.
The company generated $142.5 million in net cash from operating activities in the quarter. For the full fiscal year, operating cash flow reached $168.7 million, with free cash flow of approximately $144.6 million, according to presentation materials. Winnebago reported full-year revenue of about $2.7 billion and adjusted diluted EPS of $1.79. Net income was $34.5 million, or $1.21 per diluted share, and net leverage improved to 2.2 times.
For fiscal 2027, Winnebago guided consolidated net revenues between $2.65 billion and $2.80 billion. Reported diluted EPS guidance ranged from $0.90 to $1.50, while adjusted diluted EPS was forecast at $1.65 to $2.25. The adjusted EPS midpoint of $1.95 would be roughly 9% above the prior year’s adjusted EPS.
The outlook assumes North American recreational vehicle (RV) wholesale shipments of 265,000 to 295,000 units in calendar 2027 and does not anticipate a broad recovery in RV or marine retail demand. Management said earnings improvement will come mainly from manufacturing and broader structural cost actions, including manufacturing-footprint adjustments, operational efficiencies, continued innovation investment, and portfolio expansion.
Presentation materials cited cumulative gross savings of $70 million to $80 million over fiscal 2027–2029. Management said a significant portion of these savings will offset inflation in materials, labor, health care, and other operating costs rather than flow directly to earnings.
The company highlighted motorhome share gains and reported motorhome operating income of $7.9 million in the quarter. Executives noted that cautious dealer ordering and subdued retail demand continue to constrain unit volumes, supporting the conservative volume assumptions for calendar 2027.
