Visa Inc. (V) reported on Oct. 27, 2026, that its fiscal fourth-quarter earnings reflected increased network use and stronger full-year results. The board also raised the quarterly cash dividend and outlined capital returns for fiscal 2026.

Quarterly Results and Operating Metrics

For the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2026, Visa said net revenue reached $12.1 billion, up 13% year over year on both nominal and constant-dollar bases. GAAP net income rose 18% to $6.0 billion, or $3.19 per diluted share, a 22% increase per share. On a non-GAAP basis, net income was $6.6 billion, or $3.48 per share, a 17% gain year over year. The company attributed these gains to heavier use of its payment network.

Payment volume increased 9% during the quarter, while cross-border volume rose 14%, excluding intra-Europe transactions. Processed transactions climbed 10% to 74.2 billion, reflecting broader growth in card activity across Visa’s network. These operating metrics supported the quarter’s revenue and profit expansion.
