AstraZeneca reaffirmed its 2026 guidance for mid-to-high single-digit percentage total-revenue growth and low double-digit core EPS growth at constant exchange rates. The company scheduled an investor and analyst conference call for 14:30 UK time, attributing ongoing growth to commercial momentum across therapy areas and progress in its development pipeline.
Pipeline and Commercial Drivers
AstraZeneca said double-digit growth in oncology, respiratory and immunology, and rare disease offset headwinds from loss of exclusivity for Farxiga and Brilinta and volume-based procurement in China. Management highlighted this therapy-area mix as a key buffer against generic competition and pricing pressures.
Since its Q4 2025 results, the company has secured 47 approvals in major regions, including first approvals for four new medicines—Etcamah, Baxfendy, Klygefa, and Amlypave—expanding its marketed portfolio across multiple indications.
The company reported 12 positive Phase III program readouts during 2026 through the nine-month period. It said these late-stage successes have collective peak-year revenue potential well above $10 billion, signaling significant midterm commercial opportunity.
AstraZeneca plans to publish its fourth-quarter and full-year 2026 results on Feb. 9, 2027.
