SanDisk said in a press release that its Investor Day on Aug. 13 outlined a multi-year growth strategy and a sustainable long-term financial model, framing product and technology initiatives amid AI-driven memory demand and recent guidance-driven volatility.

Investor Day Strategy and Financial Outlook

At the event called "Sandisk In Focus," SanDisk highlighted product and technology innovation alongside business-model development to support its multi-year growth thesis. The company said, "Our strong performance today is the direct result of disciplined execution against the strategy we outlined."

In fiscal fourth quarter 2026, SanDisk reported revenue of $9.0 billion, adjusted earnings per share of $39.25, data-center revenue of $3.0 billion, and a gross margin of 84.6%. The combination of elevated margins and significant data-center sales reflects the company’s exposure to high-value AI-related memory demand.

For the first quarter of fiscal 2027, SanDisk guided revenue between $10.3 billion and $10.8 billion, adjusted EPS from $44.00 to $46.00, and gross margin of 83.0% to 85.0%. This guidance was the main factor behind post-earnings share volatility.

Management reiterated mid- to high-teens long-term bit growth and expects fiscal 2027 sellable-bit growth in the mid-teens. Executives emphasized that long-term expansion will come mainly from technology transitions rather than major wafer-capacity increases, highlighting their investment priorities.

The company also cited $93.9 billion in multi-year contracts, including $16.5 billion with guaranteed payments, as a source of revenue visibility. Market coverage linked the memory stocks rally to tight supply and AI infrastructure demand, noting a roughly $37 billion AI-infrastructure backlog at Nebius.

The Investor Day followed a volatile period in which memory stocks rallied on sector strength before SanDisk’s shares declined on guidance concerns. Some market commentary suggested the post-earnings slide could present a buying opportunity for investors focused on the company’s multi-year model and contracted backlog.
