Salesforce Inc. (CRM) reported fiscal second-quarter results on Aug. 26, 2026, raised full-year fiscal 2027 revenue guidance, and announced Claudeforce, an expanded partnership with Anthropic that integrates Claude into Salesforce data and workflows.

Quarterly Results and Guidance

For the quarter ended July 31, 2026, Salesforce reported revenue of $11.4 billion, up 11% year over year, and profit of $3.5 billion, or $4.29 a share, compared with $1.9 billion, or $1.96 a share a year earlier. The company raised its fiscal 2027 revenue guidance to $46.1 billion–$46.4 billion and adjusted EPS guidance to $16.67–$16.71. For the next quarter, it projected revenue of $11.42 billion–$11.50 billion and adjusted EPS of $3.42–$3.44.

Chief Financial Officer Robin Washington attributed the stronger outlook to continued momentum in Agentforce, Data 360, and Slack. Deputy CFO Mike Spencer said the results and guidance reflect several quarters of execution aimed at returning to faster organic growth in the second half of the fiscal year. Annual recurring revenue from Agentforce and Data 360 reached nearly $3.9 billion, providing a measurable AI revenue base supporting the company’s outlook.

Claudeforce Partnership and Rollout

Salesforce described Claudeforce as an expanded strategic partnership with Anthropic that combines Claude with Salesforce data, workflows, business logic, actions, and governance to embed conversational and action-oriented AI into customer workflows. The initiative includes a plugin called Salesforce in Claude, which features 37 prebuilt sales skills.

Salesforce in Claude is available to select pilot customers now and is expected to enter open beta in September 2026, with additional prebuilt skills planned later in the year. The rollout will test customer demand for Claude-powered automation and gauge how quickly AI revenue converts into broader subscription and service growth.

"Salesforce and Anthropic are announcing Claudeforce, an expanded strategic partnership," the company said in its Aug. 26 press release.
