Palantir Technologies Inc. said in a press release on Aug. 3, 2026 (after market close, ET) that strong Q2 earnings led it to raise full-year revenue and U.S. commercial targets as customers accelerated adoption of its Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP), citing demand for AI sovereignty.

Results and Profitability

For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, Palantir reported total revenue of about $1.94 billion, up 93% year-over-year and 19% sequentially, exceeding consensus estimates near $1.8 billion. GAAP operating income reached $912 million, reflecting a 47% operating margin, while adjusted operating income was $1.2 billion, or 62% adjusted margin. GAAP net income was approximately $1.1 billion, implying a net margin near 55%. Diluted adjusted earnings per share came to $0.41, beating the Street consensus by roughly $0.06 to $0.07.

Commercial Momentum and Guidance

U.S. revenue drove most growth, totaling $1.6 billion, up 115% year-over-year and 23% sequentially, representing about 81% of total revenue. Within this, U.S. commercial sales reached $764 million, rising 149% year-over-year and 28% quarter-over-quarter. U.S. government revenue was $809 million, up 90% year-over-year. Global commercial revenue totaled $945 million, up 110% year-over-year.

U.S. commercial bookings, measured by total contract value, hit a quarterly record of $2.1 billion, up 153% year-over-year and 81% sequentially. The company reported 653 U.S. commercial customers, a 35% increase from a year earlier, and closed 220 deals worth at least $1 million, including 98 deals of $5 million or more and 73 of $10 million or more.

Following the quarter, Palantir raised its full-year revenue guidance to about $8.15 billion, implying roughly 82% growth, and set the U.S. commercial revenue target above $3.4 billion, nearly $500 million higher than its prior forecast. It also upgraded its outlook for adjusted operating income and free cash flow. Chief Executive Alex Karp described the quarter as “otherworldly.” Management attributed the momentum to accelerating adoption of the AIP and customers’ desire to maintain control over their data, models, and security—a dynamic driving demand from both government defense programs and enterprise generative AI projects.
