Reports of Gemini 4 Argon surfaced as Ant International’s Antom unit and Google Gemini announced a strategic partnership on September 30, 2026, launching an Indonesia pilot that began in July and aims to broaden distribution for Google AI Plus across Asian markets.
Antom Expands Google Gemini in Asia
Ant International said in a press release that its Antom unit, the company’s merchant-payment and digitization-services provider, is supporting Google Gemini in a strategic partnership to expand access to AI tools for learning, creativity, and productivity in Asia. The initiative began in Indonesia in July 2026 and will expand to additional Asian markets.
The Indonesian pilot offered eligible students ages 18–25 a 12-month free trial of Google AI Plus, claimable through DANA and GoPay digital wallets, Tokopedia, and participating MomoYo locations. Ant International reported the initiative had reached about 10 million users in Indonesia.
The companies said the partnership will use Antom’s A+Rewards digital-marketing solution, which employs privacy-preserving computing and artificial intelligence alongside Antom’s network of digital-payment apps, e-commerce platforms, and lifestyle-service providers. Antom also supports billing, tax, risk management, marketing, and account services across the subscription lifecycle for AI companies.
Reports Describe Gemini 4 Model
User-provided reports described Gemini 4 Argon as Google’s new flagship AI model, initially available to selected cybersecurity partners. The model is credited with improvements in coding, cybersecurity, and complex professional tasks.
Secondary reporting framed the rollout as part of Google’s broader effort to narrow competitive gaps with other leading AI developers. However, no official Google or Alphabet announcement, model card, technical report, or SEC filing confirming Gemini 4 Argon was accessible.
Together, Antom’s distribution infrastructure and the extended student trial create a partner-based channel that establishes a direct route for consumer exposure to Google AI Plus in Indonesia and could support broader deployment across Asia.
