Amazon (AMZN) and Uber announced on Nov. 5, 2026, that Uber Eats will become the restaurant-delivery option for U.S. Prime members. The partnership introduces an immediate delivery-fee waiver for qualifying orders placed through Amazon, available in nearly 10,000 U.S. cities.
Prime Members Gain Uber Eats Integration and Fee Waiver
The companies said in a joint press release that Prime members can now order restaurant delivery through Amazon.com and the Amazon Shopping app, with the service available immediately. Members use their existing Amazon credentials and payment methods, while Amazon provides delivery-status notifications and Uber Eats sends the final order confirmation. The $0 delivery fee applies to Uber Eats restaurant orders of $25 or more placed through Amazon. This benefit extends to all Prime membership categories, including Prime for Young Adults and Prime Access.
Launch Promotions, Coverage, and Transition from Grubhub
To encourage adoption, eligible members receive $20 off each of their first two qualifying Uber Eats restaurant orders during the first 14 days. Prime Visa cardmembers earn 5% back on Uber Eats purchases through Dec. 5, 2026. The partnership offers access to hundreds of thousands of Uber Eats restaurants across nearly 10,000 U.S. cities and towns. Amazon and Uber estimate Prime-exclusive offers could generate potential savings exceeding $175 annually.
Separately, Amazon’s commercial arrangement with Grubhub, which provided Prime members access to Grubhub+, ended on the same day. An Amazon spokesperson said the company continuously evaluates its third-party offers.
“U.S. Prime members can now order restaurant delivery right on Amazon.com and in the Amazon Shopping app—powered by Uber Eats—with $0 Delivery Fee and exclusive promotions,” the joint release stated.
