D-Wave Quantum Inc. (NYSE: QBTS) said in a Dec. 22, 2025 press release that it will sponsor the CES Foundry at CES 2026, bringing annealing quantum systems, a Jan. 7 masterclass, and a new U.S. government business unit to Fontainebleau Las Vegas.

D-Wave at CES Foundry and Commercial Outreach

D-Wave announced its sponsorship of the two-day CES Foundry on Jan. 7–8, 2026, an event at Fontainebleau Las Vegas that gathers entrepreneurs, investors, government leaders, and media to discuss AI, quantum computing, and blockchain. The company will operate booth FT12, featuring interactive demonstrations of its award-winning annealing quantum systems and hybrid quantum-classical solvers. These presentations will highlight applications in manufacturing, supply chain, materials science, and telecommunications.

Murray Thom, vice president for quantum-technology evangelism, will lead a masterclass titled "How Quantum Computing Is Transforming Business Today" on Jan. 7 from 1 to 1:30 p.m. PT. The session will cover commercial applications and the synergy among quantum computing, AI, and blockchain.

D-Wave described itself as the world’s first commercial supplier of quantum computers, developing both annealing and gate-model systems. More than 100 organizations use its technology, with over 200 million problems submitted to date.

The company also announced its Qubits 2026 user conference, scheduled for Jan. 27–28 in Boca Raton, Florida. Additionally, it named Jack Sears Jr. to lead a new U.S. government business unit focused on logistics, transportation, and national-security use cases. These initiatives complement the CES programming and reflect D-Wave’s effort to demonstrate practical quantum applications to enterprise and public-sector audiences.
