Anduril Industries raised $5 billion in a Series H funding round on May 13, 2026, valuing the defense-technology company at $61 billion. The company said the capital will finance expanded manufacturing, research and development (R&D), and infrastructure as sales accelerate.

Series H Funding and Company Growth

Anduril said in a press release that the Series H round was co-led by Thrive Capital and Andreessen Horowitz. The proceeds will support increased manufacturing capacity, boost R&D, and build infrastructure to scale its defense systems. The company remains privately held and had no Securities and Exchange Commission filings in the 72 hours following the announcement.

The prior financing round, Series G, completed about a year earlier, valued the company at $30.5 billion and raised approximately $2.5 billion.

CEO Brian Schimpf reported in an investor letter that Anduril generated $2.2 billion in revenue in 2025, more than double the previous year. The company has secured multi-billion-dollar contracts from the U.S. military, including work on the Air Force Collaborative Combat Aircraft prototype and the Navy/Defense Innovation Unit Dive XL autonomous submarine. It operates roughly 20 production sites to support manufacturing and deployments.

Some product lines are profitable, but the company overall remains unprofitable. A spokesperson said an initial public offering (IPO) is planned but not imminent, contingent on reaching company-wide profitability and favorable market conditions. Venture investors have been willing to oversubscribe large private rounds, which helped close the latest financing.

Estimates of total funding to date vary, with some accounts exceeding $11 billion and others listing about $6.8 billion.

The size of the financing, the return of prominent venture backers, and management’s focus on scaling manufacturing and R&D indicate sustained private-market demand for capital-intensive defense startups. The funding provides Anduril additional runway to pursue profitability before any public listing.
